USM is currently seeking Metal Fabrication Shop Foreman for its first shift.

• Supervise the metal and machine shop departments while working together with the Production Coordinator on assigned projects from final plan design to completion to ensure timely project completion and accuracy.

• Coordinate all metal fabrication projects including labor, materials and adhering to schedule.

• Indentify proper stock materials necessary for the job.

• Fabricate from patterns, blue prints, and templates.

• Knowledge of total job assignment and sequence of performance

• Knowledge of trade practices and geometry.

• Ability to weld using various methods and equipment.

• Knowledge of all machinery  including CNC.

• Ability to read blueprints, know procedures sequence.

• Ability to read and understand complex specifications and understand relationship of components.

• Knowledge and use of various materials with applicable math.

• Design and fabricate intricate and irregular dies, jigs and fixtures as necessary.
